Race day with friends
Lights out soon. Everyone says what they feel like and MiBA finds a spot for the whole group.
Start a gatheringLights out, and the whole group wants to be together for it. Some races start in the evening, some in the middle of the night or over lunch, depending on where in the world the cars are. The race sets the hour. Where to eat before it, or where to go once the chequered flag falls, is the part the group chat never settles.
The start sets the hour
Pick dinner, drinks or a late bite, the days that could work, and an hour that fits around the start. Then choose the area and send one link. With the time already fixed, the questions that matter are where, how loud and how much. Some groups eat before the lights go out; others meet after the podium to argue about the strategy calls.
A crowd, or a quiet corner
Each friend answers on their own. Some want a crowd and the noise turned up; others want somewhere easy to talk in, to go over every pit stop afterwards. MiBA asks, so you don’t have to guess who is in which camp. Each friend also says what they feel like eating, and whether they’re after beer, cocktails or wine.
Budgets counted fairly
Each friend says what they’d like to spend, and places over the group’s budget are left out. A place someone ruled out is never suggested. Budgets and no’s stay private, so the friend who is saving for a ticket to the real thing doesn’t have to say so. Dietary needs are saved on each friend’s account, and places that show they cater to them come first.
Watching it there
MiBA can’t tell which places show the race, so it never promises a screen. If watching it there matters, ask when you book: MiBA gives you a link or a phone number, and everyone hears where and when. Whoever takes the flag, the evening together is the point.
Starting a gathering is free. Everyone signs in to answer and vote, and MiBA remembers their name and dietary needs for next time.
