MiBA

How MiBA chooses

בעברית

MiBA looks for a restaurant the whole group will enjoy. This is how it gets there.

Everyone answers privately

Each guest answers a few quick questions on their own: the days they can make, what they feel like eating, the vibe and the budget. Dietary needs are saved on their account, so they're asked once.

Must-haves come first

A place outside the host's area, closed at the hour, or ruled out is never suggested. Someone who must eat kosher is never sent to a place that can't show it's kosher. For other dietary needs, places that show they cater come first, and MiBA says so when it couldn't confirm one.

The rest is balanced across the group

Food, vibe, budget and the rest count for everyone who answered. MiBA looks for the place that suits the whole group best, not one person's favourite.

The group votes

The host sees MiBA's ranking first and puts up to five places on a shortlist, or picks one alone. Then everyone votes on the shortlist.

No restaurant pays to be picked

No restaurant can pay to be suggested, ranked higher or kept on the shortlist. MiBA finds places in public map listings, and nobody outside the group can change where they rank.
