Plan a birthday dinner with friends
The birthday is the easy part. Finding one evening and one place that suits the whole table is where the group chat goes quiet. Someone wants the new place everyone talks about, someone is watching their spending this month, and someone stopped eating meat last year. Nobody wants to be the one who spoils the plan by saying so in front of everyone.
Set the evening
Pick dinner, the days that could work, the hour and the area. If you are planning it for someone else, leave them off the link and keep the surprise. Then send one link to the guests, wherever you already talk. Offer a few days if you can, so more of the people who matter can make it.
Everyone answers on their own
Each guest says which days don’t work, what they feel like eating, the vibe they’re after and what they’d like to spend. Their budget, their diet and the days they can’t make stay private, so nobody has to explain a tight month or a strict diet to the whole group. Nobody has to argue for a favourite in the chat either.
A table that works for everyone
A place someone ruled out is never suggested, and places over the group’s budget are left out. Places that show they cater to the guests’ dietary needs come first, and MiBA says so when it couldn’t confirm one. The rest is weighed across everyone who answered, so the pick suits the whole table rather than the loudest voice.
Vote, then celebrate
MiBA ranks the restaurants that fit, you put up to five on a shortlist, and everyone votes. You get a link or a phone number to book the table, and everyone hears where and when. What is left is the part that matters: a long dinner, a toast, and a table full of the people who came out for them.
Starting a gathering is free. Everyone signs in to answer and vote, and MiBA remembers their name and dietary needs for next time.
